After another chilly start to the day on Thursday, clouds will increase throughout west Texas. Thursday is looking to remain overcast & cloudy for all locations. That will keep highs below average yet again. Lubbock will only get up to 61° in the afternoon. The wind will be at 5-10 mph, to it will actually feel closer to the temperature. Still, a jacket is a great idea during the day.
The end of the week will see mostly sunny skies, just in time for Veterans Day. Wind will remain light, so it will be a good day to get outdoors & enjoy the comfortable Autumn weather. Highs will still be below average. In fact, Lubbock will get to 63° on Friday, but that will feel warmer with the sun shining & the wind staying at 5-10 mph.
