We will continue with a cold morning on Friday, however, it will not be nearly as cold as Thursday morning. Lubbock will be looking at a low of 39°, with lows near freezing to the west and northwest. The afternoon is going to see mostly sunny skies, with the wind increasing. Sustained wind will be at 10-15 mph, with the occasional gust reaching 25 mph. The high will climb to 62°.

We will look at warmer air as we move into Veterans Day. The morning will only get to 47°, which is closer to the average low. The afternoon will see more mostly sunny skies. The wind will be the only problem. I know the parade is going on Saturday, so be ready for sustained wind at 15-20 mph, with gusts to 35 mph. Otherwise, the skies will be mostly sunny and the air much warmer. Lubbock will top out at 75° in the afternoon.
