Saturday will start off with clear skies & cool conditions. Lows are expected to drop to the mid 40s for most, upper 30s along the state line. The sun will still stay with us (will it ever rain?) and with the wind shifting to the south-southwest, warmer air will flow back into west Texas. So, highs will be able to climb up to 83° in Lubbock, with mid-to-upper 80s in the Rolling Plains. Kickoff for Oklahoma vs Texas Tech at 7:00 pm will see clear skies & a temperature of 78°.

The warmth will hang around on Sunday, as well. Yes, it will still be sunny, with wind staying at 10-15 mph. It will be a good day to get outdoors & enjoy this late October weather. Lubbock will expect to see a high of 86°, with highs near 90° in the Rolling Plains & low 80s along the state line. Highs are looking to stay well above average from Saturday-next Wednesday, at least. We’ll see if a storm system will bring any rain on Tuesday/Wednesday.
