By Sunday, we’ll actually be talking about warmer air flowing back into the South & Rolling Plains. That high pressure will stay over us, so the sunshine will be dominating, with no clouds. Expect a high of 87° in Lubbock & low 90s, once again, in the Rolling Plains. The wind is going to be from the south at 5-10 mph, so it will actually feel warmer than it is out there.

We’ll start off the next work & school week, on Halloween, with more sunshine & very warm conditions. The record high for Halloween is 88° & Lubbock is actually looking to tie that record high on Monday. There will be low 90s in the Rolling Plains, which in some spots, will actually break record highs. So, October has been a warm one overall & that trend will continue through the end of the month.
