Clouds will stay with us through the day on Saturday. This cooler air mass will really make things look & feel like Autumn, finally. Highs will be in the low 70s for Lubbock, with upper 60s to the northwest. The wind will be light, so at least we won’t have that to deal with. This cool down will really only last through Sunday.
Showers & thunderstorms return to the forecast for Sunday. The coverage will only be at 10%, so nearly all of us will stay dry. We really do need to see moderate rain for the area, as we’re in a deficit of more than 4.5″. That won’t happen on Sunday. The rest of us will be cloudy, with highs staying in the low 70s. Sunny, dry & warmer air returns by Monday.
