There will be a lull in storms from Wednesday night, through Thursday morning. However, thanks to some upper-level support, another round of thunderstorms will get going on Thursday afternoon. This is going to be another 40% in the area, so many more spots will be getting some storms with heavy rainfall. I can’t rule out more minor flooding, especially on those low-lying roads.
Friday’s forecast has changed to more of a rainy one in the area. So, be sure to keep the rain gear with you all week long & especially as you head out to those football games on Friday night. Storms will stay at 40% now on Friday afternoon. There will be, once again, the opportunity for heavy rain & flooding. Be careful has you head out to those games. Lubbock will see a high of 80°.
