Saturday is actually going to see an increase in coverage for area thunderstorms. That forecast continues to evolve & it is now showing 30% of us getting in on the thunderstorms. The computers are showing that storms should be ending by 6:00 pm, which is kickoff between Louisiana Tech & Texas Tech. Keep an eye to the sky & have your rain gear on Saturday evening. Highs will now be into the lower 80s.
Sunday is looking to see drier air work its way into the region. So, we’ll be seeing 10% for isolated storms during the day, but more likely earlier in the day. Skies are going to be partly sunny, so we will see sunshine peeking through the cloud cover. That sunshine will allow for highs to be in the upper 80s, with low 90s off the Caprock.
