The sunshine & warm weather is going to stick around for the day on Wednesday. Luckily, we will actually be seeing highs dropping each day this week. The peak was on Monday & the lowest temperatures will be over the weekend. Highs will still be in the low 90s in the afternoon, with mid 90s in the Rolling Plains.
Autumn begins on Thursday morning at 9:21 am. Things will not be feeling like Autumn on Thursday, as highs will actually still be above average. The wind will be on the increase, as well, sustained at 10-15 mph. So, that will at least help to make things feel cooler. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 88°, with more 90° readings off the Caprock.
