The weekend is going to see a warm-up thanks to more sunshine & southerly wind. High pressure will be back in control both days, so things will be rather quiet. Saturday is shaping up to see mostly sunny skies, with highs in the low 80s. Much of the same for Sunday. Highs will be two degrees above the high on Saturday, so we’re looking at good outdoor weather.
The start of the next week, which will be the first week of October, is going to see sunny skies & highs staying above average. Monday will see blue skies & tons of sunshine. Lubbock will get to 86° for the high. A low pressure system will come in Monday night & Tuesday. This will bring isolated storms, at 10%, to the area on Tuesday afternoon.
