We’ll see clear skies & a very chilly start to Sunday. Lows will dip down into the mid 50s, with upper 40s in the northwestern counties. However, with the sunshine that we’ll get on Sunday afternoon, highs will be able to rebound with that warmer air. Lubbock will see a high of 83°, which is still below average. Wind on Sunday afternoon will be at 5-10 mph.

Starting out the next work & school week, things will be noticeably warmer. High pressure will give us plenty of blue skies & sunshine in the area. That will allow for highs to climb up above average. Lubbock will reach a high of 89°, with low & mid 90s off the Caprock & mid 80s for areas along the state line. We’ll see another cold front, cooler air & storms by midweek.
