Tonight: Mostly clear skies overnight with temperatures dropping near 40 degrees. Southwest wind 10-15 mph.

Tomorrow: Sunday will be even warmer with temperatures reaching the upper 60s to lower 70s around the South Plains. We’ll see mostly sunny skies and windy conditions throughout the day as well. Sustained winds from the west/southwest 15-25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. A dry front will push through in the afternoon and that will cause a wind shift and cooler temperatures for the start of the work week.

Extended: The front on Sunday will knock our temperatures back down to the lower 60s on Monday. We’ll remain dry through the week, but temperatures will stay on a cooling trend, with warmer conditions by Friday. Either way, high temperatures all week will remain at or above normal with breezy conditions beginning Wednesday and lasting through the weekend.

Have a great Sunday!
