Tonight: Partly cloudy conditions will continue overnight with a slight chance for isolated storms. Some of these storms may become strong or severe for a brief period of time, but they should clear up by sunrise. Temperatures will stay mild around 60 degrees with winds from the south at 15-20 mph.
Tomorrow: For Mother’s Day, temperatures will stay warm once again into the upper 80s under sunny skies. Southwesterly winds 25-35 mph will help bring in that warmer air with gusts as high as 50 mph. With these windy conditions, we will see patchy blowing dust by the afternoon. The dryline will set up just east of our viewing area, which means the best chance for storms will pick up east of the South Plains into areas off the Caprock.
Have a great Mother’s Day!
