Tonight: Mostly clear skies will persist overnight with temperatures falling into the lower 50s. Expect breezy conditions with winds from the west southwest at 10-15 mph.
Tomorrow: Monday will be the warmest day of the week so far with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s across the Caprock and lower 90s across the Rolling Plains. Southwesterly winds will help bring in the warmer air at 10-15 mph. Expect clear skies with lots of sunshine. UV index will be high, so if you plan to stay outdoors for a while, make sure to pack your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Extended: Conditions will remain dry for the South Plains through midweek. By Thursday, we’ll see our next storm system as well as a dry line set up just east of Lubbock. This will bring the chance for isolated storms beginning Thursday evening and continuing into Friday.
Enjoy the sunny and warm conditions while we have them!
