Tonight: Mostly clear overnight, with temperatures staying slightly above freezing. Winds will remain breezy around 15-20 mph. A cold front will also move through the area overnight, and this will provide us with a cooler start to the week.
Tomorrow: Due to the cold front, temperatures will be cooler than they were this past weekend. They’ll be back to normal for this time of year, in the 50s. We may even see some 60s off into the Rolling Plains. The day will start off mostly clear, but then clouds will increase from the northwest to southeast throughout the day. Winds will also shift from the west northwest at 5-15 mph to the north northeast in the afternoon.
Extended: This upper level disturbance coming through will allow us the chance to see some light winter weather early Tuesday. Any area west of I-27 to the state line could see light rain and snow, but the best chance is in the far northwestern South Plains. Temperatures will also stay colder in the 40s for Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, we will warm back up into the 60s with lots of sunshine, which will continue into next weekend.
Have a great week!
