Few clouds tonight, but mostly clear with temperatures still sitting in the 70s and 80s around the South and Rolling Plains. We saw temperatures a bit cooler today with fewer highs into the 100s.
We will start off our work week with mostly sunny skies in the morning and afternoon hours. By the evening hours, we’ll start to see isolated showers and storms take over the Panhandle as a weaker front moves in from the North. The bulk of this cold front will affect us Tuesday, with a chance of isolated showers and storms in our North counties. This pattern may move further South throughout the day on Tuesday and we could see isolated showers popping up in other areas of the South and Rolling Plains. Since most places will stay dry, temperatures will still drop slightly into the lower 90s. This will give us a break from temperatures hitting 100 degrees off the Caprock. These showers and storms may linger through Wednesday morning and afternoon. High pressure will rebuild by the end of the week, and conditions will dry up with highs back into the mid to high 90s.
Have a great Monday morning!
