Today: We’ll see a mix of sunshine and clouds this afternoon. Temperatures will stay much cooler today, actually near normal in the lower 50s. The wind will shift from the NE back to the SW at 5-15 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies overnight with temperatures dropping to the upper 20s and lower 30s across the region. SSW wind 5-10 mph.

Extended: The clouds will stick around on Friday with high temperatures reaching the lower 50s once again. Expect breezy conditions on Friday with SSW wind 15-20 mph. There will be no major weather issues for the holiday weekend. Temperatures will climb back above normal, in the upper 50s and lower 60s. There is also a slight chance for some showers Saturday and then Sunday night into early Monday morning.
