Today: St. Patrick’s Day will be the last day of above average temperatures for this week. We’ll warm into lower 70s with mostly sunny skies. Winds will be light shifting from the northeast to the southeast at 5-10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy conditions for the evening before becoming mostly cloudy. Overnight lows will be in the lower 40s with winds from the south southeast 5-10 mph. We could also potentially see a small rain chance for our easternmost counties this evening, but that is a very slim chance.
Extended: A front will come through on Friday, which will help knock temperatures down into the upper 50s. We also have a 20% chance for isolated rain showers and storms on Friday, but the best chance for rain will be in areas off the Caprock. The cooler air behind this front will keep temperatures in the 50s through Saturday. We’ll start to warm up again by Sunday and be back in the 80s to start off next week.
Have a great St. Patrick’s Day and don’t forget to wear your green today!
