KLBK Thursday AM Weather Update (6-23-16)

Cooler Weather Ahead: One more hot day is on tap across the South Plains and the Rolling Plains with highs in the middle to upper 90s. High temperatures fall back into the middle 90s Friday and Saturday. We’ll drop into the lower 90s Sunday, Monday and Tuesday thanks to more cloud cover and some rain chances.

Rain Chances Return: Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible late Thursday afternoon thru Friday morning across the Texas Panhandle and the far northern South Plains. There is another slight chance for thunderstorms late Friday afternoon and Friday evening. The next slight chance for thunderstorms is on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. It will warm back up by the middle of next week. 


College World Series Forecast: Texas Tech will take on Costal Carolina at 7:00 p.m. this evening Mostly sunny and warm in Omaha with temperatures in the middle 80s at first pitch. Sunset is 9:01 p.m. Thursday evening in Omaha.
