Today: Another hot day is in store for the South Plains. Temperatures will climb to the upper 90s under mostly sunny skies. We are beginning to dry out with the southerly winds 10-15 mph, but we still have some moisture in place. This could help in producing few storms this evening.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies overnight with temperatures in the lower 70s. Winds will stay from the south 10-20 mph.
Extended: Friday will be even hotter with temperatures at or above 100 degrees. Expect sunny skies with southwesterly winds 5-15 mph.
