Today: We’ll finally see some warmer conditions today. Temperatures will climb near 60 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Northwest wind 5-15 mph.

Tonight: Expect more clouds overnight with temperatures dropping to the lower 30s. Southwest wind 5-10 mph.

Extended: Wednesday is the official start to the winter season, and it will actually be another warm day with temperatures in the lower 60s. A cold front will move through Wednesday night, dropping temperatures back to the 40s on Thursday. We have the chance for some rain returning to the region Thursday and Friday, and with temperatures dropping, we could see of that transition over to a wintry mix. There’s a slight chance for another round of precipitation on Christmas Day, with the best chance for areas off the Caprock.

Have a great Tuesday!
