Today: Temperatures will hit the triple-digits today in the South Plains under sunny and clear conditions. There will be a slight breeze from the WSW 10-15 mph.
Tonight: Conditions will stay mostly clear overnight, with temperatures only dropping to the lower 70s. Winds will be from the S 10-15 mph.
Extended: The hot temperature trend will continue for the entire week. High temperatures will stay in the upper 90s and lower 100s with sunny skies. With the moisture in place, we have the potential for a few isolated storms Tuesday and Wednesday evening, but most areas will remain dry.
