Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been an overcast start to the day with light rain showers moving across the region and temperatures staying well below average in the upper 50’s and low 60’s. These cooler and rainy conditions will be short-lived though as high pressure takes over the region, allowing temperatures to get back into the low 70’s. Despite a weak front that will push across the South Plains tomorrow afternoon, we will continue to see sunny conditions through the majority of the weekend and temperatures will push back into the upper 70’s by Saturday. Then we will watch for a second round of showers and thunderstorms beginning on Sunday evening and continuing on and off next week so make sure to stay weather aware!
