Happy Thursday everyone! Today was a slightly warmer day across the South Plains with highs reaching back into the low 90’s. As we move into the next few days, temperatures will continue on their slow upward climb back to above average. Just like today, we will stay mostly dry with lots of sunshine but there will be a small chance for rain tonight and tomorrow. This will change quickly though as our next cold front pushes into the region. This will bring a minor cool down and another substantial chance for showers and thunderstorms. Flooding could be an issue on Sunday and Monday so drive with caution and if you see pooling water, turn around, don’t drown. Also make sure to keep your umbrellas handy and stay weather aware!
