Happy Saturday everyone! We have had another sunny and hot day across the South Plains with some isolated showers popping up to the East. This isolated thunderstorm activity will continue over the next few days with chances increasing mid-week. We are watching for another cold front to push across the region Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. This will allow for more widespread rain and another drop in temperatures. Expect low 90’s today through Tuesday with the 80’s returning for the second half of next week. We will be watching Monday closely as the rain chances could hinder our ability to see the eclipse. Make sure to stay tuned for updates and stay weather aware with the upcoming storms.
