Happy Tuesday everyone! Showers and thunderstorms will continue clear out of the region this evening following the passage of a weak front this afternoon. We will see a short dry spell across the South Plains for much of tomorrow and Thursday morning which will allow for some warmer temperatures. Thankfully, we will continue to stay below average with highs only reaching into the mid-80’s tomorrow and the upper 80’s and low 90’s on Thursday. This dry spell and warm up will end quickly though as another stronger front pushes across the region on Thursday evening bringing another chance for showers and thunderstorms that are expected to bring more heavy rainfall to the region. This will also drop our temperatures once again. We are not expecting any severe weather at this point in time but continue to stay weather aware throughout the week.
