Happy Wednesday everyone! We have another partly sunny day across the South Plains with a small chance for showers and thunderstorms. Thankfully, unlike yesterday, storms are not expected to be severe. However, there will still be a small risk for flooding so remember that if you see pooling water, turn around, don’t drown. Rain chances will continue through the weekend so make sure to keep your umbrellas handy. Thankfully, the overcast and rainy conditions will help keep our temperatures way below average for the next seven days with highs only reaching into the low 80’s. Next week we will see more sunshine in the forecast but we cannot rule out storm chances completely.
