Happy Wednesday everyone! We have had a sunny and clear day across the South Plains with highs back in the mid-80’s. Your Thursday will begin with more sunshine and warmer temperatures reaching into the upper 80’s and low 90’s, but as we move into the late evening hours, cloud cover will increase and and we will watch for our next chance for storms as another stronger front pushes into the region. Storm chances will continue on Friday through Monday with flooding being the major risk. Following the passage of the cold front on Friday, we will also see another brief drop in temperatures before our next warming trend for the weekend. Thankfully, we will see another front and therefore another cool down as early as Monday morning.
