Happy Thursday everyone! Sunshine will continue to be abundant today through the beginning of next week with below average temperatures expected for one more day. Unfortunately, the 90’s will make their return over the holiday weekend so it is important to remember to be sun safe – wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Temperatures will slowly drop below average for the beginning of next week, with a larger cool down expected on Wednesday. This is due to the next cold front that will push across the region Tuesday night. It will also bring rain chances back to the South Plains so make sure to stay weather aware next week.
