Happy Wednesday everyone! Today was a slightly warmer day across the South Plains with highs reaching back into the upper 80’s and low 90’s. As we move into the next few days, temperatures will continue on their slow upward climb back to above average. Just like today, we may see a small chance for rain tomorrow but then Friday and much of Saturday will remain dry and sunny. This will change quickly though as our next cold front pushes into the region. This will bring a minor cool down and another substantial chance for showers and thunderstorms. Flooding could be an issue on Sunday and Monday so drive with caution and if you see pooling water, turn around, don’t drown. Also make sure to keep your umbrellas handy and stay weather aware!
