Happy Monday everyone! It has been a beautiful, sunny, and unseasonably warm day across the South Plains with highs sitting in the low 70’s. These warm conditions will quickly disappear as our first of a multitude of fronts push across the region throughout the remainder of the work week. The first will push through this evening dropping temperatures into the upper 50’s tomorrow and keeping our lows back below the freezing mark. That means that it is imperative to bring your pets and potted plants indoors and turn sprinklers off this week to prevent a multitude of issues. We will warm back into the upper 60’s on Wednesday with our next dose of cold air scheduled to arrive on Thursday. We drop into the upper 50’s again on Thursday and then return to the upper 60’s by Saturday. The pattern continues with another cold push on Sunday so make sure to keep the jackets handy all week. There is no precipitation for the next week so just expect abundant sunshine.
