Happy Thursday and happy Valentine’s Day everyone! It has been a warmer day across the South Plains with highs pushing into the mid-70’s. This will remain the case tomorrow as well, but then we have quite the cool down headed our way! Temperatures will drop into the upper 60’s on Saturday, the upper 50’s on Sunday, the low 40’s on Monday and then the upper 30’s on Tuesday. Along with the cool down, we will also see more windy conditions through this upcoming Monday. This will bring more blowing dust and a fire weather risk over the next four days. Burning of any kind is not recommended and if you are a cigarette smoker, make sure to dispose of them properly. Conditions will remain dry through Monday afternoon, but beginning on Monday evening we will see our next chance for wintry precipitation that will continue into much of the day on Tuesday.
