Happy Thursday everyone! It has been another beautiful, sunny, and mild day across the South Plains with highs dropping back around average into the mid to upper 50’s. This is all due to the cold front that pushed through the area late last night through early this morning. Temperatures will stay cool on Friday as well but will rebound quickly on Saturday, moving back into the low 70’s. Sunshine will be abundant over the next few days but winds will pick up on Saturday as we watch for another weak front to slide across the region. Temperatures will drop slightly on Super Bowl Sunday into the 60’s and conditions will remain that way through the second half of next week. Despite our many mini fronts that will slide across the area, sunshine will remain abundant and we will see a handful of windy days.
