Happy Sunday everyone! It has been a warm and windy day across the South Plains with highs sitting in the mid-70’s. Thankfully, the winds will slowly calm down by tomorrow morning, but temperatures will remain warm through the first half of the work week. Sunshine will remain abundant as well, but we will see isolated rain chances on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then beginning on Thursday we will see a drastic cool down with highs dropping into the lower 50’s on Thursday afternoon and then into the mid-40’s on Friday. Lows will plummet back into the teens by Friday morning so it’s important to bring your pets and potted plants indoors and turn your sprinklers off on Thursday evening. Then over the weekend, temperatures will slowly move back above average and sunshine will return!
