Happy Thursday everyone! It has been a much cooler day across the South Plains with highs dropping into the low 50’s this afternoon. Temperatures will continue to plummet tomorrow with low’s dropping into the teens early in the morning and only reaching into the low 40’s by the afternoon. That means it is important to bring your pets and potted plants indoors and turn your sprinklers off this evening. Conditions will remain the same on Saturday so make sure to keep a coat handy! Over the second half of the weekend, temperatures will slowly move back to average and cloud cover will be on the increase. We will see rain chances re-emerge on Sunday evening and continue into the beginning of next week so make sure to keep an umbrella in hand!
