Happy Thursday everyone! It has been another sunny, breezy, and slightly cooler day across the South Plains. This brief cool down will be very short-lived with temperatures rebounding quickly on Friday and Saturday with highs moving into the mid-80’s to the low 90’s and possibly reaching record temperatures. Conditions will change quickly on Sunday though as a closed low approaches the region. This will increase cloud cover, drop temperatures back below average, and bring a chance for precipitation starting Sunday and continuing through next Wednesday. This precipitation will be a mix of rain, snow, sleet as low temperatures will return to below the freezing mark beginning on Monday morning and continuing every morning next week.
