Happy Tuesday everyone! After a warm and sunny start to the work week, a cold front arrived early this morning bringing some very cold air and strong winds to the South Plains. Highs dropped back into the 40’s today, but thankfully we have a slow warming trend throughout the work week with highs moving back into the mid-60’s by the weekend. However, low temperatures will remain below the freezing mark for the next five days so it is imperative to bring your pets and potted plants indoors so they can stay safe and make sure to turn your sprinklers off. Sunshine will remain abundant throughout the week making it a pretty quiet forecast until next week when our next cold arrives to the South Plains.
