Happy Monday everyone! It has been another beautiful and sunny day across the South Plains with highs slightly cooler due to the cold front that transversed the region last night. The rest of today should be pleasant but tomorrow things start to change with winds ramping up to the 25-40 MPH range. This means that fire weather will be an issue tomorrow with blowing dust possible in the forecast. The one nice change to the forecast is that temperatures will warm back into the 70’s tomorrow and even approach (and possibly reach) the 80’s on Wednesday. Enjoy the warm up while you can though because our next cold front is progged to slide across the region late Wednesday night into Thursday. This will drop our temperatures back to average in the upper 20’s (lows) and mid-50’s (highs). Sunshine will remain abundant and sadly rain still remains out of the forecast.
