Happy Monday everyone! It has been a beautiful, sunny, and slightly warmer day across the South Plains. This trend will continue through tomorrow afternoon with highs reaching into the low 70’s. However, another cold front will slide into the region Tuesday mid-day bringing more cold air to the South Plains. This will cause temperatures to drop into the upper 50’s and low 60’s on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, with a slow warming trend expected as we move into the weekend. This first front will be dry but Saturday we are watching for another system to push across the area bringing us our next chance for rain. This will clear out quickly though allowing for a sunny Super Bowl Sunday!
