Happy Thursday everyone! Temperatures remained around average today due to the thick cloud deck over the region. This will change beginning tomorrow as sunshine returns, allowing highs to move into the low 60’s for your Friday and Saturday and then the mid-60’s by Sunday. In spite of our warming high temperatures, lows will still remain below the freezing mark tonight through Saturday morning. This means it is imperative to keep your pets and potted plants indoors and to turn sprinklers off to prevent a multitude of issues on the roadways. Also, make sure to wear layers during late evening and early morning hours because these cold temperatures can be dangerous to your health. Then on Sunday afternoon through Monday morning we watch for a weak and dry cold front to slide across the region dropping temperatures by just a few degrees and bringing us some very windy conditions. Temperature will then move into the upper 60’s right before our next big cool down. This will occur on Wednesday night into Thursday morning with temperatures dropping into the mid-40’s and bringing us our next potential chance for rain.
