Happy Monday everyone! The record continues to spin with more sunshine and highs back in the low to mid-90’s yet again. This will remain the case for tomorrow and Thursday with temperatures moving back into upper 90’s with a few triple digits for the second half of the work week. That means it is important to continue to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also, don’t forget about your pets – if the pavement is too hot for you to walk on barefoot, then it is too hot for them as well. Sunshine will continue to prevail over the region throughout the remainder of the work week with rain chances returning next week so make sure to stay weather aware.
