Happy Saturday everyone!  It was a nice day today across the South Plains but as we move into the evening hours we will see another chance for strong to severe storm activity.  Much like last night the main threats will be heavy rainfall, lightning, damaging winds and large hail.  These storms will continue throughout the very early morning hours on Sunday.  Be sure to stay weather aware tonight.  Tomorrow as the system moves out of the area mostly sunny conditions will return along with high temperatures.  High’s tomorrow will warm back up into the mid 90’s.  Monday and Tuesday we will see partly cloudy conditions and high temperatures will heat up into the upper 90’s.  Much like the previous nights a slight chance of storms will return Monday and Tuesday evening. Be sure to have your umbrellas handy for your Fourth of July events and watch for firework cancelations.  Wednesday and Thursday will be slightly cooler with high’s dropping down into the low 90’s. Another slight chance for severe storms will be present not only Wednesday but Thursday.   Low temperatures this week will continue in the upper 60’s and low 70’s.  Have a great holiday!
