Happy Friday everyone! The ridge of high pressure continues to drive our weather pattern today and tomorrow with highs back in the upper 90’s and the triple digits. Therefore, it is important to remember to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also, don’t forget about your pets – if the pavement is too hot for you to walk on barefoot, then it is too hot for them as well. Our dry forecast will end as early as Saturday evening though, due to the ridge moving out and a slow moving low pressure system moving into the region. Storms will continue through Monday so make sure to stay weather aware. We will also see a minor cooling trend with highs moving back to around average through the start of next week.
