Happy Monday everyone! We have had another sunny and hot day across the South Plains this afternoon with more chances for storms this evening. The eastern South Plains is under the Slight Risk for severe storms so make sure to stay weather aware. This should clear out overnight tonight with sunny and dry conditions expected for much of the 4th of July holiday. However, another front will push across the South Plains tomorrow evening bringing yet another chance for storms which may put a damper on the scheduled fireworks. Tomorrow we will see a slightly less severe outlook but both today and tomorrow we are expecting large hail, damaging winds, and lightning.
