Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been another sunny and hot day across the South Plains with temperatures in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. We do watch for another chance for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening but thankfully it is not expected to be severe at this time. The forecast will remain very similar tomorrow with more rain and average temperatures but we will start to dry out after that. This will allow temperatures to begin to heat up. Make sure to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours.
