Happy Monday everyone! It has been a beautiful and sunny start to the work week, but we are watching for a few pop up thunderstorms to form over the region this afternoon and early this evening. Tomorrow will look nearly identical with highs back in the upper 80’s and low 90’s and more afternoon thunderstorms possible. Thankfully, nothing severe is expected at this time. As we head into the second half of the work week, temperatures will start heating back into the mid-90’s and sunshine will remain abundant. We will continue to watch for more isolated storms on Thursday and Friday, but coverage will be limited. Then by the weekend, storm chances will cease and temperatures will migrate back into the upper 90’s and the triple digits. That means it is important to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours! Also, make sure to bring your pets inside during those peak heating hours and keep them hydrated throughout the day.
