Happy Tuesday everyone! Today’s forecast will be similar to yesterday with highs reaching back into the mid-90’s to the triple digits and another chance for showers and thunderstorms forming right along the dry line. The Storm Prediction Center has placed us under the Enhanced Risk Category for severe storms. Biggest threats will be large hail, damaging wind gusts, and isolated tornadoes. Storms will begin to form late afternoon and continue into the evening hours.
Hot temperatures will continue to stick around with a slow warming trend into the weekend so make sure to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. We will also continue to see mostly sunny skies through the beginning of next week with an isolated chance for storms through this Thursday.
