Happy Tuesday everyone! Just like yesterday, we will see more warm temperatures and sunny skies as the upper level ridge continues to drive our weather over the South Plains. However, starting as early as tomorrow, the ridge will begin to flatten, allowing for the possibility for some isolated storm development across the region. Temperatures will continue their slow climb returning back into the triple digits by the second half of the work week so make sure to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also make sure to remember to bring your pets indoors and keep them hydrated. Our next front is projected to move across the region on Friday night into Saturday morning, bringing a substantial drop in temperatures and more chances for storms.
