Happy Sunday everyone! Hopefully everyone enjoyed the cooler weather because another warm up is on the way. Tonight we are watching storms moving into the area from the north and northwest. These storms have the potential of becoming severe. The main threats will be heavy rainfall, large hail and damaging winds. Remember if you see pooling water on the roadways, turn around don’t drown. Make sure to stay weather aware this evening. These storms will continue to move throughout the area into the very early morning hours. Monday the warming trend begins, temperatures will be warming back up into the low 80’s. Tuesday the sunshine and heat return. High’s will climb back near 90 and by Wednesday well into the 90’s. Thursday we will see more sunshine and the potential for the return of the triple digit heat. A slight cool down will begin Friday as high’s decrease into the mid 90’s. Saturday will still be hot but slightly cooler with high’s in the low 90’s. It going to be a sunny and hot week be sure to stay hydrated and wear lots of sunscreen.
