Happy Wednesday everyone! Unlike yesterday, highs will not stay below the triple digit mark this afternoon. It is expected to stay hot and sunny over the next two days as well with temperatures getting eerily close to Heat Advisory level. That means that it is imperative to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also, make sure to bring your pets inside during those peak heating hours and keep them hydrated throughout the day. Another feature in the forecast over the next few days will be the on again off again storm chances. These will return tomorrow and continue through the beginning of next week. The Storm Prediction Center has placed us under the Marginal Risk Category tomorrow for strong to severe storms with large hail and damaging wind gusts as our biggest threats so make sure to stay weather aware. Thankfully, temperatures begin to cool down as we move into the weekend with highs only getting into the mid to upper 90’s.
