A strong low pressure system is moving through the Rockies today. That is going to bring several inches of snow to portions of Colorado. For west Texas, we are going to get very strong wind. Expect the strongest wind between 3:00-7:00 pm. Those times, the wind will be sustained at 35-45 mph, with gusts reaching 60-70 mph. So be careful out there as we have a very high fire danger all day long. Tomorrow will still see wind, but it will drop to 15-20 mph. Otherwise, it will be sunny and cooler with a high of 62°.
